Neckarwiese

The famous riverside lawn on the north bank of the Neckar opposite the Old Town - Heidelberg's summer living room, with a castle view.

In summer the Neckarwiese is the open-air living room of Heidelberg. Along a kilometer between the Theodor-Heuss-Brücke and the Old Bridge, everyone meets here: students, families, commuters after work - picnic blankets, barbecues by the water and the view of the castle and the Old Town.
